Coffee Process #1
Cherry Hand Picking
Producing the best quality of specialty coffee requires a careful and excellent process at every stage. The first of our supply chain is cherry hand picking. It is a harvesting method of hand-picked the fully ripened cherries for better control in texture, size, and shape of the raw beans resulting in a better quality of coffee.

Sorting Coffee Beans
As we only sourced high-quality specialty coffee beans, the sorting is done in the simplest possible way - by hand. Our team of local farmers carefully hand-picked discoloured and other defective beans.

Washing, Drying & Fermentation
In the washed process, all of the ripe cherries are thrown into a de-pulping machine to remove the fruit flesh. Then the process continues with fermentation, the seeds are put into a large water tank to remove the remaining fruit flesh. Once the fermentation’s complete, the seeds are taken out of the water tanks to dry under the sun. This process will lead to bright, acidic flavours and immense complexity for the cup profiles.

Roasting
Roasting brings out the flavour of the green coffee beans. With roasting, we can determine the flavour and the aroma of the coffee. We only roast a small batch of coffee gradually to ensure we serve the freshest specialty coffee.

Packing
Our packaging is designed to keep the flavors lasts. We carefully choose the packaging to protect the product from sunlight, moisture, oxygen and preserving the coffee’s aroma characteristics.

In 2018 we came up as the 2nd place position in a coffee competition. We brew our coffee the right way and make it as personal as possible. Leave the brewing to us and enjoy a hot cuppa with us!

The difference between commercial coffee to specialty coffee is that commercial coffee is usually roasted and packed in large plants under nationally advertised brand names. Meanwhile, specialty coffee offers more choices than commercial. You can purchase the coffee by the place it originated from, blend, price, and flavors. You could enjoy a cup of really good coffee while supporting small businesses. Our specialty coffee originates from Bali, Kintamani.

The Kintamani coffee beans are a single-origin specialty coffee with a 100% Arabica that is incredibly smooth, has a lighter taste, and has sweet flavours that are fruity and have a citrusy aroma.

We wanted to support our local farmers who were producing the famous coffee beans whose philosophy was, based around the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The three causes of well-being that focus on the harmonious relationship between God, surroundings, and humanity. This concept refrains the coffee farmers from using pesticides or harmful chemicals to produce environmentally friendly and organic coffee beans. Our core philosophy is to serve the best in the life of the coffee bean, from soil to cup.
