V60 Brewing Guide
  • Place a paper filter in the brewer and rinse with a full cup of hot water
  • Weigh 20gr coffee beans per serving or 2 heaped measure spoons
  • Grind fine/ medium (see grind chart)
  • Discard the rinse water
  • Add ground coffee to filter
  • Saturate the coffee by adding very slowly, drip by drip, 20gr of hot water (directly off the boil), and wait about 30 seconds.
  • Pour carefully in a circular motion for a total of 300gr – focus the pour into the center of the pond, keeping the pour away from the sides.
  • Stop pouring when 300gr weight is reached. (300ml per 20gr serve).
  • Stir the pond gently with a teaspoon to make sure all grind is in the pond and not left out of the water, up on the sides.
  • V60 pour-over should take about 3 minutes for the water to drain through the grinds. there should be a flat bottom of grinds left in the filter.
  • Sip and enjoy
  • Preheat french press with hot water
  • Weigh 20gr of coffee beans per serve or 2 heaped measure spoons3. grind medium/ course (see grind chart)
  • Discard rinse water
  • Add ground coffee to french press
  • Start a 4 minute timer
  • Pour carefully and quickly 300gr of hot water (directly off boil)
  • Stop pouring when 300gr weight is reached. (300ml per 20gr serve)
  • After 30 seconds stir gently with a teaspoon breaking the bloom.
  • Place the lid on the brewer making sure the plunger mesh is pushed down slightly holding the grinds just slightly under the water’s surface.
  • When the timer goes off gently push the plunger down.
  • Ecant the liquid into either cup or carafe.
  • Sip and enjoy
  • Prepare all the equipment. Cup of coffee, spoon, hot water, and your coffee.
  • Weigh 10gr of coffee beans or 1 heaped coffee measure spoon.
  • Grind your coffee to a fine powder (see grind chart)
  • Add coffee ground powder to the cup.
  • Start a 3-minute timer
  • Pour 200gr water (directly off the boil) into the dry coffee/ sugar mix.
  • Gently stir immediately when the pour is finished
  • Let the coffee steep for 3 minutes until all the ground has settled to the bottom of the cup.
  • Optional: add teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk to taste, and be careful to stir gently so as not to disturb the coffee grounds.
  • Sip and enjoy your coffee
